Writer's Block: Surf's Up!

How much time do you spend online?
Way to much time. I've been told that my life is on my computer, and I can't dispute that. Sadly. Everything except my job and my family is online... I can admit that it's kinda sad...

So sorry!!

I just found out that my account has been messed with. For those of you who were added as my friends the last few days, if you've been spammed with requests, I'm so sorry. I have no idea who got onto my computer or hacked my account, but I've already changed my password and locked up entry to my computer. Again, I'm so sorry.

Writer's Block: Fast-food TV

Are there any dreadfully bad TV shows that you wouldn't want your friends to know you watch? Confess! (This is LiveJournal, where we love you unconditionally.)

I love "Factory Made", and "How it's Made". If one of the two is on, and even if I have something I should be doing instead, I'll sit down in my living room and watch every episode that comes on until they stop for a new show. I really enjoy finding out how everything works and how they are created. It's fun to learn how the world works...

The bad side is that it would be weird if my friends found out, but here goes nothing! lol. Sorry guys, if your reading this, but I love the show's. Most of my friends are more into the supernatural and the paranormal stuff, so they don't really understand my fascination with taking mechanical pencils apart and trying to figure out how they work.

Writer's Block: Happy, happy, joy, joy

Which song makes you happy every time you hear it, and why?

The cover of Justin Bieber's "Somebody to Love" Glee did. I like it better than the original, and it make's me think: "I want someone like that!"

I just have one simple problem with the song. The whole 'somebody' concept upsets me. "Somebody" is so broad.

South Lyon's Pumpkin Festival - 2009

This was written last year, during my Journalism class, on the weekend of the Festival. I re-wrote some thins so it will make sense now. If I missed some present tense words that no longer make sense, sorry, I did my best at catching them all

South Lyon’s Pumpkin Festival welcome’s cold weather.

By Sydney Cruse

Saturday, October 3rd of 2009 was a day many will remember. While the kids were outside in the cold, windy weather, the adults were inside with the arts and crafts. In the cafeteria and in the gym of Millennium Middle School people from all over the state gathered to sell, buy, and watch as handmade crafts, jewelry, and anything else you can think of were put out for all to see. With the music blasting and the undeniable smell of carnival food, people gathered for last year’s Pumpkin Festival.

Wedding's Galore

Wedding’s Galore.

By Sydney Cruse

Weddings are supposed to be the best time of your life. The dress, the flowers, the guests. Everything about your wedding should be exactly what you want. Be it a gothic type of wedding, or the elegant type wedding. On your special day, you want everything to be perfect, even though that rarely happens.

Sleep Deprivation in Teenagers

Sleep Deprivation in Teenagers.

By Sydney Cruse

Sleep disorders are heard of around the world in adults. It has come to the attention of Cornell University psychologist James B. Maas, PhD, one of the nation's leading sleep experts, that almost all teenagers are walking zombies due to lack of sleep. “What good does it do to try to educate teen-agers so early in the morning?" asks Maas. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, drowsiness and fatigue cause more than 100,000 traffic accidents each year, and young drivers are at the wheel in more than half of these crashes. Difficulties at school like sleeping in class, misbehaving and having social difficulties have, in some cases, been found to be caused by lack of sleep.

Your Wrong

One Shot

I was in my car on my way back to Forks high school. I went to Rome for the summer and went through a little change. No surgery or anything, I did it myself, for myself. Before, I was the most unpopular girl in school, and had the cliché football star crush, Edward Cullen. I, Bella Swan was the one everyone picked on, the one people who weren’t picking on me felt sorry for. But never enough to do anything, that’s how it was for me. But not anymore, I changed my self image, and I wasn’t going to take anything from anyone! I remember the first time it started, the first time he started. We were friends before he got popular, and he used my secrets against me. I’m still best friends with his sister, which makes it even harder, but I wouldn’t give Alice up for anything. She’s my rock, she’s been there through everything.

The Chicken Box!

Disclaimer: I don’t own anything other than my plot. Everything else belongs to its rightful owner.

Okay, this is a One Shot I based off of the Life With Derek called ... I think it was "The Pox Father" or something close to that. Anyways, i hope you like it, and take into account, that i wrote this in about a half an hour, so if its sloppy, oh well. I couldn't let the idea get away from me.

There was also a one shot very similar to this one. I have not read it, but ive read my reviews and I did not mean to "Copy" it. This is how i thought the episode of the show should have gone. Thats all. Who ever wrote the other one, I did not intend any type of copy write infringement.

One-Shot – Based off the episode called “The Pox Father”

.:CHAPTER ONE:.

THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW

She was in her room, doing her homework. It was her normal Friday night routine. When she hear a knock at her door. She looked up, got off her bed, and walked to the door to find, Derek. He looked sick, and then he held up a bottle of Aloe, she realized that he had the chicken pox. He looked like he was ashamed to have to come to her to do this, but she didn’t want to pester him about it. So she took the bottle out of his hands, and waved him to go back to his room, as she followed right behind him.

Far Away

Disclaimer: I do not own anything but my original plot. I do not own Bella, Alice, Edward, Charlie or any of Stephenie Meyer’s characters. I also do not own ‘Far Away’ by Nickleback.

I’ve looked everywhere for a good ‘Far Away’ Songfic and I couldn’t find one! I figured I’d put my two cents in, so this is my version.

Far Away

Songfic. ‘Far Away’ by Nickleback.

All I can do is breathe as I lay in bed watching the window. THE window. The one HE used to get into my room every night for almost a full year. Things have been good. Okay. Fine. Okay not good, or okay, or even fine. Things have been bad. I can’t sleep without seeing him. Those eyes, the perfect shade of copper. Actually it’s not even copper, it’s an unnamable color. There’s something off in the dreams though, his eyes, their empty. They hold no inkling of the love, and happiness of what they once had. Their empty, it’s just… empty. There is nothing there. No memories, no feelings, just nothing.
